A historical village with an old groundwood and board mill. Situated in
Jaala, in the province of Kymi. Museum founded in 1972. It is on the World Heritage
List of the UNESCO since 1996.

A few kilometers away from Angoulême, on the river banks of the Charente, this
old wheat mill is a reconstruction of a 17th century paper mill. The museum
relates the history of hand-crafted paper from the origine.

its owner want to transform it into the exact replica of a 18th century paper

14th century paper mill. The paper industry is a tradition in Auvergne. The
house of the paper maker can also be visited. "Pur chiffon" paper is still produced
in this mill for publishing companies and graphic art, and paper containing
wild flowers.
